The English summer might still be hit and miss but our two newest English stills are not. These two gems are contrasting in style yet are equally pleasing. Best enjoyed chilled in a summer garden in good company. Presented with a handtied bow, this is a lovely summer gift or treat.
Folc Dry English Rosé 2022. A seductive pale rosé with hints of peach, raspberry and red apple. Delightfully refreshing and full of life. English summer in every sip!
Made and bottled in Kent.
ABV: 12%. 75cl.
What does Barbury Hill say? A medium bodied, Provence style rosé with quality fruit that shines through from start to finish. Not to be missed this summer.
Hendred Rosé 2021. From a small family-run vineyard in The Vale of the White Horse. A glorious location with temperate microclimate and chalky soil. This fruit forward pink is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. It has summer berries, especially strawberry. Fruity but not sweet and good with food.
Hand harvested in Oxfordshire.
ABV: 11%. 75cl.
What does Barbury Hill say? Good balance, flavour and acidity. At our tasting events it has converted non-rosé drinkers!
