This special edition, Chalkstream Gold from River Test Distillery, is distilled with Maris Otter barley grown and harvested in the fields surrounding the distillery. The strong notes of Juniper are complemented by the subtle sweetness and unique flavours of Maris Otter barley with bay and rosemary adding a level of complexity.
Like many of our producers on Barbury Hill, River Test Distillery so perfectly encapsulates our ‘raison ‘d’être’ with their award-winning small-batch gins demonstrating their entrepreneurial and innovative spirit. Not only was this limited edition was awarded ‘Gin of the Month’ in March 2021 by the Craft Gin Club, River Test are also producers of the award winning London Dry which was awarded ‘Best English London Dry’ at the World Gin Awards in 2020.
