This distinctive winter gin liqueur is, to put it quite simply, the taste of Christmas. With warm notes of sweet cinnamon and citrus peel combined with aromatic dried fruit and winter spices, the Reverend Hubert is a truly festive tipple. Whether you choose to enjoy it served neat over ice, mixed into a cocktail, splashed over ice cream or with a mince pie, you’ll experience a momentary festive hug, whether Christmas or not!
Not only is this gin highly quaffable, its eye-catching bottle and striking name will make for a talking point at any drinks party. Named after the creator Thomas Lester’s great Grandfather, The Reverend Hubert was considered a friendly chap, better suited to the vicarage rather than war.
Inspiration for this winter liqueur comes straight from the Reverend himself after a chance discovery reunited Tom with a battered WWI hipflask once belonging to his great Grandfather, with his very own homebrewed winter liqueur from 1904. Since then, Tom has made it his mission to recreate and elevate this recipe producing gin in small batches by hand on the edge of the Cotswolds with the help of drinks guru Joe Wadsack.
Best enjoyed with friends or straight from your hipflask after church.
